Dr David Marsland leads up the Crecent Petroleum Upstream department, which is responsible for all subsurface and drilling activities as well as projects in the portfolio. Prior to joining Crescent Petroleum, Marsland spent most of his career working for Shell Exploration & Production in a range of managerial and technical roles in ventures across Europe, Africa, Middle East and Far East. Dr Marsland holds a PhD in Mineral Resource Engineering and MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University.
